We write from a broadly evangelical Christian position. We affirm the historic Christian teaching about the Trinity, Jesus Christ, His resurrection, and salvation by grace through faith. We distinguish those convictions from differences among Christian traditions.
We aim to describe opposing beliefs in terms their adherents would recognize. Disagreement about a claim gives us no reason to demean a person. We also aim to acknowledge the limits of short introductions rather than claim that a few paragraphs settle a complex debate.
