Reasoned Christianity

Editorial standards

How we aim to handle Scripture, evidence, and disagreement.

Represent claims fairly

We distinguish an author’s position from our interpretation of it. We seek primary sources for claims about a religion, movement, or historical document. We critique beliefs without demeaning people who hold them.

Keep Scripture in context

We identify Bible translations when quoting them. Initial devotional quotations use the King James Version. We separate the biblical text, our interpretation, and practical application.

Name the limits of an argument

We distinguish Christian convictions from historical or philosophical arguments offered in their defense. We do not treat an unanswered question as proof of our position. We label introductory articles as introductions and acknowledge disputed interpretations.

Use sources responsibly

We link relevant reading and identify quotations. Books in our research library do not automatically carry permission for republication. We publish original explanations rather than reproduce chapters or lightly rewrite another author’s work.

Tools and corrections

We may use AI tools to assist with drafting, design, or research organization. Generated material requires checking; it is not a source of authority. Atmospheric website artwork may be AI-generated and does not depict a historical or prophetic event.

Send a correction to service@jimjamesnetwork.com, including the page URL, the passage, and supporting evidence. We aim to correct factual errors and identify substantive updates.
